Email Blast

What is Email Blast?

An email blast, also known as mass emails, is an outreach approach in which a sender sends identical emails to many recipients simultaneously. Unlike in other email marketing strategies, email blasting does not involve personification or segmented lists. Therefore, it is common for recipients to ignore such emails or even report them for spam.

In the early email marketing days, email blast was a good strategy. Marketers believed that the more inboxes they reached, the better it would be for them. However, things have changed since then.

Nowadays, there are more sophisticated email outreach strategies that involve personification and other elements to improve positive responses from recipients. Besides, an email sender has to consider spam filters and other security layers that would report emails that come from email blasts.
