Email Signature

What is Email Signature?

An email signature sometimes referred to as an email footer, is part of an email body. Senders include signatures in their emails to look more professional and stand out. The signature also leaves a better impression on the recipients.

A proper email signature should include the following elements:

  • Sender’s name, last name, their company’s name, and what position the sender holds
  • Contact information, including social media links
  • High-quality company logo or personal photo
  • A call-to-action, if appropriate

While email signatures are important, they should not overshadow the email message itself because it is the copy that conveys the message, not the signature.

Stick to a simple design when creating an email signature. Also, after you generate your email signature, send it to a throwaway email account to see whether all the links and images are working properly.
