In email marketing, social proof could be the difference-maker between a conversion and missing out on another lead.

When sending promotional emails, a marketer should include user-generated reviews from the past, highlight what others are purchasing, drop names of famous people who endorsed the marketer, and share potential rewards and mentions in the media.
